Medline Industries, Inc has an immediate opening for a Distribution Coordinator 2nd Shift (4:00 PM - 12:30 AM) at our production plant located in Laredo, TX. We are seeking a hard-working, detail-oriented professional with experience in production management and the ability to work in a fast paced environment. In addition to exceptional leadership and analytical skills, you must have a "roll-up your sleeves" attitude. The challenging responsibilities of the position include:

JOB SUMMARY:

Pull and ship all expedites from the B01 Cross Dock shipping lanes. Create loads for the B01 receiving dock.

CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Review all emails and the SPT expedite list then locate all the items and physically move them to the FedEx line on a daily basis.
• Create stock transfer orders or sales orders through SAP for all items moved to the FedEx line on a daily basis.
• Create loads for B01 receiving for all inbound containers and LTL shipments.
• Answer phone calls from outside carriers for dock appointments, then enter the dock appointments into SAP using menu ZAPPT.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• At least 1 year prior work experience

• Experience in processing all relevant details, understanding and prioritizing their importance and drawing clear and concise conclusions.
• Experience in reviewing and reconnecting on actions and with people to ensure the completion of the task.
• Must be able to work daily overtime (2-3 hours) on regular basis up to 6 days a week.

• Previous warehouse shipping experience.
• SAP knowledge.
