Position Summary

This position supports the implementation of strategic business objectives. The primary focus of this job will be to coordinate and lead projects for Finance. The incumbent will establish and maintain internal and external relationships and utilize this network to successfully execute assigned projects.

Key Responsibilities


  • Leads assigned projects for Finance areas including, but not limited to, General Accounting, Supply Chain Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis and Global Business Services.
  • Develops detailed project plans identifying project costs and benefits, resource requirements and project risks along with mitigation options. Partner with Finance Transition Managers, HR, Legal, IT and other business resources to ensure the plan is compliant and considers all aspects of the potential change on the organization.
  • Leads the project team to achieve the established project objectives.
  • Regularly assesses and manages project risks/opportunities along with the required risk mitigation plans to ensure project objectives are accomplished.
  • Responsible for facilitation of communications with the project team and key stakeholders. This will include regular updates regarding project status and performance.
  • This position may require travel to support the project and can vary depending on the project stage and status.

Key Skills & Experiences


  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business; Advanced degree a plus
  • PMP certification or equivalent education
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of project management experience required.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Applications with significant experience utilizing Project, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Prior experience in GBS, ERP or other Financial systems or process implementations is beneficial
  • Strong interpersonal skills having demonstrated an ability to quickly develop relationships and build trust.
  • Possess a collaborative style with an ability to inspire, engage and motivate others.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to key stakeholders.
  • Has a bias towards action and a strong sense of urgency.
  • Possess solid planning capabilities which are supported by an appropriate attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop effective and timely solutions using a strong problem-solving skill set.
