Marketing Communication Specialist

Apply communications thinking and planning, solid writing and editing skills, project management expertise and knowledge of audiences and vehicles to advance company’s brand image, build awareness or generate demand for company products and services. Plan, message, drive and measure communications strategies and programs to end-user customers, channel partners, alliance partners and resellers. Focus may be global, national, regional, sub-regional or local in scope. Ensure programs align with company’s brand identity and messaging framework.

Responsibilities:


  • Plan, execute and measure image-building, awareness building and/or promotional/demand generation programs and contact strategies across an industry, sales channel or business.

  • Plan, execute and measure point-of-sale and/or packaging materials and programs.

  • Manage assigned agencies or contractors as needed.

  • Establish, track and measure business group or country measurements of success (calls, clicks, leads, revenue, TCE, etc.).

  • Manage program budgets as assigned.

  • Manage campaigns and communications to ensure our brand, values, culture, strategy, and leadership are uniquely positioned in the marketplace.  

Education and Experience Required:


  • BA or BS in Communications, Marketing or Business Administration.

  • 3+ years of experience in direct marketing, communications or marketing.

Knowledge and Skills:


  • Solid writing and editing skills- some peer or manager edits typically needed.

  • Solid organization and program management skills. Ability to link communications plans and activities to business results.

  • Sharp sense for storytelling and creative visual design.
