Gartner Conferences is seeking a Sr. Executive Producer to lead our Destination Conferences portfolio.
This experienced leader will be responsible for the production and delivery strategy which brings our content to life at our Destination Conferences, along with the creation of the signature Gartner Opening Analyst Keynotes for the IT our industry defining Symposium/Xpo series. They will guide the team who are responsible for the development and execution of global keynotes and marquee content for the portfolio of must-attend conferences. The ideal candidate is a highly collaborative strategic leader who has a proven track record in content production for live events.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead the Destination Conferences production team to ensure flawless delivery of all programs. Drive and influence business results that exceed expectations.
Lead and develop the Destination Conferences production team. Connect and inspire team members by effectively articulating the future vision and plan for achieving excellence. Build capability through effective feedback and coaching.
Support the global content production and delivery strategy which brings Gartner's insights and advice to life through impactful keynotes and engaging marquee content. Lead the strategy implementation across the Destination Conferences portfolio.
Partner with key stakeholders to develop a complete understanding of the objectives, messaging, priorities and key issues for our audience. Work in collaboration to develop the content architecture, storylines and creative messaging for key programs. Guide stakeholders through the process and become their trusted advisor.
Partner with internal and external production teams to develop creative elements which bring the story to life on stage and enhance the attendee journey for our programs; including stage set (scenic) design, graphics and visuals, and video production.
Partner with the conference operations team to plan for onsite delivery assets; including staging, graphics, audio, animation and all creative media components. Oversee onsite delivery of keynotes and marquee content.
Develop and implement initiatives which enhance the audience experience, deliver results against priorities and improve processes in planning and execution.
Develop appropriate global processes and team infrastructure to effectively scale and operate efficiently. Lead the development of global processes and timelines which can be leveraged across the portfolio to effectively project manage the production process.
Support the selection and management of the best partners to support our strategy. Support communications and collaboration across all external partners to inspire confidence and translate our strategy to ensure seamless delivery of programs.
Overall responsibility for Destination Conferences production budget including preparation, negotiation and accurate monthly forecasts. Alert management about any risks and deviations to plan and make recommendations for corrective action.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree
10 - 13 years' experience in events Industry in related roles such as Sr. Executive Producer, Sr. Event Director, Sr. Creative Director (as examples)
Project management, team leadership and keynote production experience
End to end understanding of live event keynote and large scale session production
Large scale agency management
Global experience preferred - US & Canada, LATAM, EMEA, LATAM, Japan & China
Market research, product program development and experiential marketing - preferred experience in IT, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain and HR would also be considered an advantage.
Demonstrated production and account management competencies: client focused, results oriented, strong collaborator, attention to detail, creative, agile, professional confidence, influencing others and a sense of urgency are all requirements to be successful in this role.
Live event technical understanding (ie what the technology can give you, not necessarily operating) and full event keynote production experience
Ability to build and leverage relationships both internally and externally
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
