Warehouse Driver

 

Baker Electric Home Energy is looking for a skilled delivery driver who will be responsible for the delivery of trailers and material to job sites throughout the San Diego and Riverside County areas. As a delivery driver you will also have the opportunity to work within a warehouse environment, providing additional support for our team of warehouse specialists. 

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Responsible for towing trailers to and from job sites.  


• Follow pre-assigned driving routes to ensure timely delivery of trailers and material.        


• Pick up will-call material from a variety of suppliers.


• Responsible for truck cleanliness and maintenance.


• Perform routine daily truck and trailer inspections.  


• Safely operate company trucks and equipment.


• Coordinate job material pickup and drop off with driver dispatch Supervisor.


• Provide assistance to the field team while on job site as needed.


• Operate class C Ford F150 / F250 pickup trucks  

TO BE SUCCESSFUL – EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE / SKILLS / ABILITIES:

• 2+ years of delivery driver experience a plus.


• 1+ year of warehouse experience.


• Valid California class C driver license required.  


• Goal oriented and driven to succeed.    


• Must be able to lift / push / pull up to 50 pounds.


• Ability to handle a variety of tasks with a warehouse environment.


• Willing to work a flexible schedule including extended hours when necessary.   


• Forklift experience a plus.


• Trailer towing experience preferred.


• Exude key competencies, such as, work ethics and values, initiative and decision making.

Salary range: $16/hr
