If you are an Engineering Manager or Engineering Professional looking to grow your career, our location in Bentonville, AR has a new and exciting opportunity for you! You will be responsible for the daily operation, supervision and quality of the Technical Services and Project Department and its employees. You will also be responsible for running the day to day operations of the Bentonville based team.

In addition to this, the Manager, Professional Services, Bentonville will be responsible for the delivery of education programs for direct labor, internal and external customers and to formalized systems, competencies and metrics in the areas of Technical Development, Operations and Delivery.

This position requires management of multiple skill sets and competencies around project coordination, application and project engineering, and technical support groups.

 

AS THE MANAGER, PROFESSIONAL SERVICES, BENTONVILLE, YOU WILL: 

 


  • Be proactive in ensuring the services team is delivering high value to the client base and thereby minimize the potential for disputes,  manage any disputes that may arise.

  • Report any information in advance to the Director whenever client satisfaction or billable revenue is potentially at risk of being jeopardized.

  • Report any information in advance of any employee dissatisfaction.

  • Monitor client satisfaction survey results and evaluate consultant performance. Provide feedback to the Director

  • Accountable for reporting and achieving professional services revenue and customer satisfaction goals.

  • Provide leadership to the services team by giving direction, guidance, motivation, and being able to nurture their strengths and talents.

  • Ensure the services team has a solid understanding of client business objectives and the plans in place to attain those objectives.

  • Identify cost improvement areas to drive profitability

  • Assign staff to manage the project to achieve 100% customer satisfaction, on-time and on-budget performance; Execute mitigation per plan as needed

  • Ensure all concerns logged through ticketing system and customer updates and progress are within the Key Performance Indicators assigned by the business

  • Maintain teams phone log in periods are enough to ensure low abandons and ensuring escalation channels are in place for Tier I engineers

  • Maintain self and team's proficiency in all products and services that the company offers.  This includes installation, programming, and equipment protocol. Monitor and measure the team's overall product knowledge and put in place continuous improvements plans to ensure domain knowledge

  • Ensure fully functional training and testing power wall in all support locations with all active supported devices is available to all support staff in the Bentonville office

  • Interact with customers both internal and external, resolve customer service problems and defuse sensitive issues with diplomacy and tact in a timely manner.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:


  • Associates (AA) degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school along with five years related HVAC/R experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, database, Internet software, E-mail, Windows 98, 2000, XP

  • Project Management experience

  • Ability to travel 15%-20% of time

  • Legal authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided for this role.


 PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:  


  • Supervisory and / or Managerial experience utilizing analytics to determine actions 

  • Advanced experience with MS Office Suite applications, especially Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint

  • Knowledgeable in BMS controls or PLC/DCS/SCADA, 3rd party integration, applications and interfaces, networking, and processes associated with commercial HVAC/R systems.

  • Strong Writing and Editing experience is a must.

  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities, deadlines, customer needs and work on multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Attention to detail with ability to execute tasks and writing assignments with a high level of accuracy.
