Clinic Manager - Family Medicine at Vancouver Clinic

Job Description:

Vancouver Clinic believes in advancing our people. Due to recent promotions, we have an exciting new opportunity for a Clinic Manager for the Family Medicine department!

The ideal candidate will be an inspirational leader with the proven ability to achieve goals through application of lean processes and principles. Responsible for meeting strategic initiatives while exhibiting a personal and professional commitment to quality management.

Responsibilities:


  • Manage the daily operations and responsibilities to deliver excellent patient care.

  • Provide leadership and development for clinic staff.

  • Assist in the oversight of operational strategies.

  • Set standard for collaboration with stakeholders, internal customers.

  • Accountable for patient, provider, and employee satisfaction.

  • Create and monitor department budgets and key performance indicators.

  • Transparent, servant leadership with a recognized presence in the clinic space.

  • Advocate for the needs of our patients and staff.

  • Create, maintain and operate a lean management system; developing a culture of continuous improvement and demonstrating consistent leadership through Leader Standard Work.

  • Act as a catalyst for change to support new initiatives. Develop a deep understanding of department operations in order to promote change.

Minimum Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree preferred - healthcare, business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Minimum of three years management experience preferably in a clinic or ambulatory care environment.

  • Knowledge of accounting, purchasing, planning, organizing, supervision and management sufficient to assume responsibility for budget development and operations.

  • Demonstrated ability to interview, select, train, and develop qualified staff. Competence in staff development and performance evaluations is essential.

  • Ability to assess the performance of individuals, establish performance standards, implement change, implement accountability and reward achievement.

  • Demonstrated success in the establishment, maintenance and development of effective interpersonal relations and communications with a wide range of individuals at all levels of a large organization.
