Overview:

This is a very exciting time to join Ferrara Candy Company, a US subsidiary of a multibillion dollar global confectionary manufacturer, Ferrero Rocher. Ferrero and Ferrara have acquired a $1Bn Nestle confectionary business and finalized the integration of the Cookies, Cones and Crusts business from Kellogg's North America. Post the multiple acquisitions, Ferrara is looking to for a Project Manager to own and coordinate continuous improvement projects surrounding our latest acquisitions. In this role, the project manager will be responsible for proactively identifying improvement opportunities, providing recommended solutions and driving the execution of each project. Candidates should have a good understanding of the various areas within supply chain and their connection points. This highly visible role will be the focal point for designing and implementing the next generation of supply chain capabilities that will enable a platform for continued growth and success.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Work across multiple organizations to identify gaps in process alignment, recommend solutions, and implement recommended improvements
  • Participate in project management idea creation, planning, implementation, and KPI tracking
  • Communicate solutions and status to executive level stakeholders
  • Use performance metrics to measure the scope of the improvement opportunity
  • Lead weekly internal meetings to identify and communicate opportunities for continuous improvement, develop root cause analyses, corrective actions
  • Drives the standardization of processes and the implementation of metrics and best practices.

Qualifications:

Experience:
  • 3+ years of Supply Chain experience with a large consumer products, food manufacturing company, or a consulting firm.
  • Bachelor's degree in one of the following: Supply Chain Management/ Business Administration with focus on SCM / Industrial Engineering
  • In-depth knowledge on logistics functions and experience designing and documenting processes in these areas; knowledge in related supply chain functions is also highly valuable
  • General knowledge of integrated ERP systems; SAP experience is a plus
  • Demonstrated track record of managing complex cross-functional projects involving business process redesign and/ or development of new capabilities through replacement or upgrade of IT systems and infrastructure
  • Strong command of project management tools and techniques and their practical application
  • Ability to summarize and present information effectively to senior leaders and help them make strategic decisions while considering the impacts across the organization
  • History of working effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing parallel work streams and priorities with multiple stakeholders and aggressive time lines
