Coordinates integration points between SAP modules to ensure overall process coordination. Serve as primary contact with SAP end users and process owners to understand ongoing process requirements (changes,modifications, improvements) and ensure overall SAP data and interface integrity. Continually review processes and define new procedures and standardize existing ones to guarantee a full implementation of the Corporate Model at the UIL Personnel Administration activities. This requires a detailed understanding of processes throughout Avangrid companies and implement changes to align with Corporate Model while operating in different systems. Continual improvement of the operational efficiency of the department. Analyze the processes of the function and propose, design and implement improvements to continuously increase the efficiency of the departments operation. This includes reassessing resources, at a minimum annually, to ensure strengths are being leveraged appropriately and weaknesses are identified and developed to build the department knowledge base and talent. Prepare and analyze the department KPI reporting and implement remediation efforts in case there are significant variances with the goal to improve processes that affect our direct business partners and internal processes as well. The analysis should also identify changes in the environment that may have caused an increase in employee contact that could be remediated by refining a process or improved communication. Manages all internal and external audit requests for the Personnel Administration work team including 401(k), pension, expense management, DOL, IRS and governance audits as well as overseeing that all internal controls are followed. Manages allowance payments related to the International Mobility program for Iberdrola USA for expatriates with assignments between Iberdrola Group world-wide locations. Maintains overall direction of Personnel Administration operational staff including departmental metrics and objective setting, coordinating performance management and cross training. Mentors direct reports to ensure effective resource utilization and personnel development. Acts as Project Manager on Personnel Administration projects and works collaboratively with local and Global teams to ensure project meets all critical deadlines. Provides on-going end user training related to E-Go and SAP and end user support as required.

Manages the Personnel Administration operational work teams located in Portland, Maine responsible for the following for all USA/Canada Avangrid employees: Work teams are responsible for payroll, personal data changes, PCPS labor budgeting, and expense management for all USA/Canada employees:Networks, REN & Gas and US corporate employees (approx. 7,000 employees) |in over 35 states. Processing of payroll and related transactional activities (payroll tax, 401K and pension compliance). Processing of personal data actions and related activities. Processing of expense report auditing to ensure the corporate guidelines are followed. Oversight and governance of time entry and related activities. Focus on continuous improvement and review of processes to optimize talent and align with Corporate Model processes. In depth ad hoc reporting requests by business areas as well as reporting support of Iberdrola SA, cross functional metric reporting, audit reporting and other reporting requirements.Manages Personnel Administration work team to ensure efficient, accurate, consistent, and timely processing of data entry related to payroll, personal data administration, expense, time reporting and payroll processing. Manages activities in order to ensure Avangrid is compliant with all state and federal payroll and HR laws, regulations and reporting. Responsible for overall planning of the Personnel Cost Planning Simulations relative to the Annual Workforce Budgeting. Collecting staff cost budgeting data related to H&W benefits, pension costs, employer tax costs and employee costs. Collaborate internationally with Iberdrola SA |to ensure budget is in alignment with objectives. Oversees annual staff costs budget of Avangrid of over $600m. requirements. Manages the administration of SAP HRIS to ensure configuration maintains regulatory and legal compliance, supports labor contracts, incorporates H&W benefit plans, defined contribution and defined benefit plans. Able to manage employees effectively in multiple locations and foster a team environment including effective interaction with Avangrid cross functional areas and Iberdrola SA. Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written. Able to ensure consistency in policies and procedures within cross functional areas.Ability to adapt to change and implement and drive process changes as a result. Strong project management skills. Effective critical thinking, problem solving, decision makin and analytical skills. At least seven years of related experience. Comprehensive understanding of all Federal and State HR & payroll laws and regulations (FLSA, EEO, DOL, WC, etc.). Advanced knowledge of accounting, general ledger and accruals. Advanced knowledge of international budgeting. Comprehensive understanding of Affiliate collective bargaining agreements. Comprehensive understanding of International Assignments. Integrated HRIS system knowledge/SAP experience required. Workforce knowledge preferred. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Excel required. Bachelor's degree required.
