TheMaintenance Technician III is responsible for maintaining the main controls forthe Dematic System to ensure safety as well as productivity. This position isresponsible for product safety, quality and legality.

This position will beresponsible for.....

  • Set up andmaintain machinery in co-pack area to comply with current safety standards.
  • Complete all preventiveand predictive maintenance on Dematic Machinery.
  • Assisting in theEquipment Validation Process.
  • Electromechanical skills, trouble shootingskills with the PLC controls, servos and other discrete electrical controlcomponents.
  • Must have the ability to connect a PC to a PLCand step through and understand the PLC program to troubleshoot complexcontrols failures and Maintenance Programs. Ability to make minor code changesunder the direction of Engineering.
  • Ability to read prints and schematics.
  • Proficient inusing eMaint for troubleshooting as well as capturing repairs and maintenancetasks.
  • Assist indevelopment of department talent.
  • Knowledge ofworking with basic reports to solve issues.
  • Scheduleappointments with vendors for facility issues.
  • Communicate at ahigh level to peers and other department employees.
  • Maintain accuraterecord keeping of all service work in the Qware system.
  • Miscellaneoustasks as assigned by the Operations Manager and Co Pack Supervisors.

  • High School diploma orequivalent required and 4+ years of experience performing mechanicalmaintenance duties in a manufacturing/packaging environment, or equivalentcombination of vocational education and experience.
  • Musthave exceptional problem solving and maintenance skills.
  • Excellentverbal and written communication skills.
  • Customerservice driven.
  • Strongteam player.
