Job Summary: 

This position is responsible for supporting network operations and related infrastructure services on a regional and global perspective. Responsibilities include leading design, engineering, implementation, and support activities of the Enterprise. This person will work with management and peers responsible for the enterprise data network, voice systems, wireless and security systems, ensuring compliance of IT security policies and best practices.  An ideal candidate will have a strong technology background as well as the communication skills necessary to lead peers and convey technology guidance to management.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and manage enterprise infrastructure components & systems in a multi-tiered and highly available framework.




• Works to control, monitor, and maintain multi-vendor cloud infrastructures.




• Troubleshoots complex network problems associated with hybrid application and databases.




• Good communication and interpersonal skills while interacting with end users.




• Creates NIST required process and procedure documentation.  Contributes continue improvement recommendations.




• Works with security response teams during security incidents and participates in site security audits.




• Works with telephony team and VoIP technologies.




• Performs on call duties on evenings, weekends and holidays, as needed.




• Effective organizational, leadership, decision making and communication skills.




• Ability to work as a team member on solutions to a variety of complex technical problems.

Minimum Qualifications:

• BS degree in a Computer Science discipline; Information Systems, Computer Systems Engineering, etc.




• 10+ years of work related experience with system administration, networking systems, and knowledge of information security standards and methodologies.




• Must have 5+ years experience with operation administration including Windows Server 2012R2 and Linux/CentOS.




• Must have 5+ years experience with VMware vSphere Infrastructure/vCenter 6.0 and above.




• Must have 5+ years experience with Cisco technologies covering datacenter core routing & switching (Nexus/Spine-Leaf), voice, and/or wireless.  CCNA certification or higher preferred.




• Must have 3+ years experience with Office 365/Azure deployment/migration/maintenance




• Experience with provisioning, monitoring, and maintaining enterprise cloud and hybrid environments.  (Office365, Azure, VMware on AWS)




• Experience with the data networking hardware and protocols and networking diagnostic/monitoring tools.




• Hands on knowledge of Palo Alto NGFW, BlueCoat Web proxy, or other similar security solutions.




• Experience with Netscaler MPX Application Delivery Controllers.




• Experience with implementation of NIST 800-171 security controls




• Strong time management skills with the ability to work independently




• Be physically capable of lifting up to 50 Lbs.




• Some travel to other offices may be required (less than 25%)                           

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Experience with troubleshooting CUCM, SIP, VoIP and/or Skype for Business.




• Firewall Management, Policy and Troubleshooting experience is a plus.




• PMP/ITIL certifications a plus




• Advanced Routing protocol knowledge including EIGRP, RIP and BGP.
