Job Description:

Arcosa Telecom is looking for a Quality Inspector to join our team. This position will perform basic quality control testing and inspection of standard parts, units, equipment or material to ensure conformance with standards and determine if product meets all requirements.

What you'll do:

• May inspect incoming materials, or plates, outgoing materials, or fittings and welds throughout the manufacturing process


• May apply singular inspection process, such as hydrostatic tests


• May perform x-ray, destructive or nondestructive examination to verify specified dimension, strengths and other quality factors using measuring instruments and inspection equipment


• Proficiently utilizes inspection tools and measuring equipment


• Performs inspection of finished product


• Follow all safety rules and practices


• Perform other duties as assigned

What you'll need:

• Has basic knowledge of inspection tools and measuring equipment


• Has basic knowledge of operational function to be inspected


• Has ability to become Quality Inspection Specialist (QIS) or Weld Inspection Specialist (WIS)

Working Conditions:

• Hourly full- time position


• Work environment includes plant, warehouse, production, and non-production areas


• This position may require work/maintenance coverage beyond the normal hours, shift, and on weekends/holidays


• Ability to tolerate both high and low temperatures, loud noises typical of a manufacturing plant
