An Interventional Radiology Technologist is being sought after to join a dedicated and technologically advanced radiology department in a reputable medical center.

The medical center is Joint Commission accredited, medium sized, and ensures rurally-located community members have access to a quality level two critical access center for necessary medical attention. With mentorship, opportunities for leadership to be taken, and continued training regularly offered, the medical center is a great facility to be a part of. The radiology department has supervisors, managers, and directors for clear reporting structure and organization. The Interventional Radiology Technologist will report to and collaborate with the Interventional Radiology Supervising Nurse.

The Interventional Radiology Technologist prepares and positions patients for a variety of diagnostic x-ray, fluoroscopy examinations, computed tomography, and magnetic resonance imaging procedures. The Intervention Radiology Technologist will maintain a log of the images taken. The Interventional Radiology Technologist will have a variety of computerized and manual systems to set up/perform examinations and maintain information. Accurate record keeping on the patient is an essential aspect of this position. Collaborating with other technologists is an essential skill needed for the position.
