A nationally recognized acute care hospital located on the Cape of Massachusetts is currently searching for an experienced Night Shift Respiratory Therapist to join their award-winning team.

This state-of-the-art medical center is home to just under 300-beds and is fully accredited by the Joint Commission, College of American Pathologist, and the American Association of Blood Banks.  This facility is known to provide high quality patient-centered care to more than 90,000 patients annually. The Night Shift Respiratory Therapist will join a system that provides a variety of services including cardiovascular, perioperative, oncology, women’s health, neurological, and imaging among much more.

The Night Shift Respiratory Therapist will join an acute care team that is responsible for assessing and administering appropriate respiratory therapies under the direction of a physician. The Night Shift Respiratory Therapist will provide oxygen, aerosol, tent, ventilator, and transport support to patients. The Night Shift Respiratory Therapist will also perform diagnostic procedures including ABG analysis and bedside spirometers. The Night Shift Respiratory Therapist must be able to respond to cardiac codes and emergencies, perform CPR, intubation, and arterial punctures.

The Night Shift Respiratory Therapist must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) with current Massachusetts state licensure. The schedules consist of a 36-hours per week from 7pm-7am, with rotating weekends and holidays.
