Pro Mach is looking for a highly skilled, dedicated CNC Machinist for its New Freedom, PA machinery plant. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting a broad reach of manufacturing operations.

Position Overview


This position contributes to the success of the company by producing quality parts in a safe and efficient manner.


 


Essential Job Functions



  • Interpret programs

  • Set up/touch off tooling

  • Operating CNC machines

  • Interpret blue prints; measure and provide parts quality control

  • Finishing operations, including grinding, polishing, sanding, deburring

  • Clean up and general maintenance of shop area and machines

  • Operate in accordance with all safety procedures

 


Requirements



  • Fine motor skills – Bending into machine repeatedly to change parts, inspection, etc.

  • Ability to adapt with changing priorities and to engage in multiple jobs simultaneously

  • Certification

  • Ability to take direction and follow through with assignments as provided

  • Ability to work independently while participating as an engaged team member

  • Ability to communicate effectively throughout all levels of the organization

 


Physical requirements of position



  • Fine motor skills

  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs

  • Ability to read small numbers

 


Exposure to Hazardous Materials


Following all federal, state, local and company specific safety guidelines as prescribed in the employee handbook and subsequent company safety training. Some minor exposure to hazardous materials such as epoxies, cleaners, etc. may be required as part of this job. Please refer to the material’s specific MSDS for proper handling instructions.
