Location: Troy, Michigan
•Generate the Master Production Schedule for drivetrain and mobility for commercial vehicle and industrial markets in North America utilizing statistical methods, customer and cross-functional inputs.
•Process focus: Master Demand Schedule, Demantra, JDA Blue Yonder and Oracle forecast for NA CVS.
•Impacting inventory, capacity planning, human resource planning, and forecasted sales.
•Monitoring and understanding customer demand and communicating discrepancies to the applicable Meritor sites.
•Manage forecast process in Demantra/Oracle on daily basis to the applicable Meritor sites.
•Tracking and improving forecast accuracy to determine market changes in mix and fleet orders.
•Create and present monthly volumes review (S&OP light) of 18-24 month forecast to the applicable Meritor sites.
•Work with cross-functional teams to help them understand changes within the supply chain.
•Support and update yearly AOP forecast upload process for applicable sites.
•Generating various reports for upper management as required.
•Measuring Forecast accuracy/Responsible for independent metrics.
•Manage new product introduction/Product end of life forecasts.
•Drive reconciliation/Rationalization between sales top down vs customer OE driven bottom up forecasts.

7.Best Forecasting Practices Knowledge
•Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Material Management, or related field required.
•Minimum of 3 years in Operations, Procurement, Business Planning, and/or Information Technology required. 5+ years desired.
•Excellent understanding of Microsoft suite required
•5+ years of experience in a Demand Planning/forecasting role desired.
•Experience with Manufacturing software (i.e., Oracle, SQL Developer and Demantra) desired.
•Familiarity with the Manufacturing Industry desired.
•MRP Functional experience desired
•Good team player with the ability to work with all levels of management
•Strong problem assessment and problem solving skills
