Medical Science Liaison
Southwest

The overall goal of this newly created field-based role is to provide medical-scientific communication and education to physicians and other healthcare stakeholders in the cellular therapy field. You will be responsible for local coordination of study centers and act as main contact to physicians participating in our company sponsored clinical trials ensuring enrollment criteria and objectives are met. This involves establishing and maintaining of relationships with key investigators, relevant physicians and healthcare networks and thereby raising the profile of Miltenyi Biomedicine. Additionally. you will work closely with other field-based employees and headquarter based staff to rapidly respond to questions from trial sites in the territory. You will focus on gathering insights, supporting clinical research projects, and managing other projects including educational events, advisory boards and symposia. You will also ensure excellent internal communication and alignment between clinical development, MSL team and commercial team, additionally you actively contribute to the global internal MSL network.

Your profile:

- You hold an advanced scientific degree (e.g. PhD in biology, pharmacy or chemistry, MD) and have at least 4 years of MSL/ Clinical Trials experience: or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in cell & gene therapy and/or oncology would be a plus.

- Knowledge of the applicable GXP regulations, Experience in Good Clinical Practices, Clinical monitoring and Regulatory or Commercialization would be an asset.

- You have a track record in providing scientific-medical content & advice and to establish a viable KOL network.

- You are passionate about advancing medicine for the benefit of patients. With your customer-centric and service-oriented work habit you are valued as a trusted partner.

- You have a high degree of self-responsibility and creativity; excellent communication skills in English round off your profile. This role is home office based and requires travel of more than 50%.

This job is performed in a variety of facilities. Each person performing this job must have a home office environment, which is temperature controlled. This job requires the person to be mobile to visit customer sites. Due to the travel requirements, this position may be exposed to natural elements of nature. Used research/clinical equipment may be handled in this job and strict safety guidelines and SOPs must be followed and Personal Protective Equipment must be worn. All persons performing this job will receive appropriate training prior to engaging in work requiring Personal Protective Equipment or SOP procedures.
