The Assistant Program Director (APD) for In-Home Behavioral Services (IHBS) works directly with the Program Director to ensure efficient and quality services are delivered across the program. The APD accomplishes this through the supervision and oversight of Consultant level team members and Direct Therapist (Behavior Monitor) level team members assigned to their clinical and supervisory caseloads. The IHBS service region includes Boston-Metro, Southeast, and surrounding towns of Massachusetts. The APD position would require intermittent travel to the Fall River satellite office, Randolph corporate office and client residences across the regions as needed for meetings/supervisory support. The APD actively participates in systems-level tasks as requested by the Program Director.

Responsibilities:

Provides consultations services to an assigned group of clients - travel for client caseload approximately 30-minute radius.

Provides training and consultation to families as outlined in the program guidelines. Trains staff and family members to implement behavior support plans and other teaching strategies as appropriate.

Assists the Program Director with development and implementation of IHBS trainings.

Provides supervision and clinical support to an assigned group of Consultants and Monitors - travel to support supervisees may exceed 30-minute radius.

Assist the Program Director in the evaluation of staff performance at yearly intervals from the individual's date of employment.

Maintains caseload list of active clients in collaboration with the Intake Coordinator-including scheduling Comprehensive Assessments, assigning monitor level staff, monitoring cases pending discharge, etc.

Conduct session note reviews and support skill-building to assigned staff as needed.

Coordinate check-ins with assigned supervisees and alert Program Director of any critical issues (e.g., staffing challenges, clinical questions beyond the scope of the APD).

Follow up on unresolved Time Sheet Correction Forms (TCF's) and other corrective actions sent by Clinical Systems personnel.

Monitor and follow up on expired consents, unconverted appointments, authorization concerns.

Assists director with reviewing/signing FBA, BSP, Progress Reports and Discharge Reports prior to upload to Central Reach.

Participate in insurance level record reviews with the Program Director and other leadership staff.

Qualifications:

-
Certification as a BCBA required

-
Special consideration for dual license as an Independent Licensed Clinician - LICSW, LMHC, LMFT, etc.

-
Experience in supervision and staff training

-
Experience working with children and families with behavioral health diagnoses/high risk behaviors

-
Experience with Central Reach electronic medical records preferred

-
Experience with Children's Behavioral Health Initiative (CBHI) services preferred

-
Valid driver's license
