The team
Our Marketing team creates world-class content and data-driven marketing solutions that communicates the value of DocuSign's Agreement Cloud to reach more customers and help them understand the potential impact DocuSign can have on their business. We design creative for a new business campaign. Refine messaging around new product launches. Organize captivating customer events. Develop innovative social media campaigns. Collaborate on playbooks and training with the Sales team. Marketing is the face and voice of DocuSign and plays a key, high-impact role in how we tell our story.

This position
The Senior Manager, Digital Media will be responsible for driving DocuSign's digital advertising programs for Commercial and Enterprise segments in North America to generate awareness, create demand, capture leads, and drive sales. This role will guide a growing team of digital marketers to develop scalable, predictable programs in channels such as display advertising, paid social, content syndication, and with direct publishers, as well as strongly influence global SEM campaigns for key audiences. As a data-driven performance marketer, the ideal candidate will collaborate with key stakeholders across the Marketing demand generation teams to develop new strategies, launch integrated campaigns, drive continuous optimization, and attain monthly, quarterly, and annual program KPIs.

This position reports to the Director, Global Digital Media.

Responsibilities

- Strategy: Collaborate with key stakeholders in global FP&A, Go-to-Market Strategy and Demand Generation on annual and quarterly planning of a multi-million-dollar advertising investment.

- Leadership: Directly mentor a growing team of digital advertising subject matter experts to foster professional growth while achieving monthly, quarterly and annual awareness and lead generation and ROI targets.

- Scale & Growth: Drive the evolution of publisher direct digital marketing programs across DocuSign's growing footprint of new products and services, taking advantage of new segments, markets, and tactics to extend reach and deliver growth.

- Execution: Nimbly manage, measure, and optimize performance across a portfolio of campaigns, while also executing ad hoc strategic campaigns with separate goals and budgets.

- Innovation: Identify, test, and operationalize new opportunities in the ever-changing digital landscape, including: New publishers, platforms, tools, technologies, and approaches to digital strategy.

- Innovation: Always be testing. Nurture and maintain an always-on approach to experimentation across bidding strategies, ad copy, landing pages, audiences, and more.

- Collaboration: Create a sense of urgency and drive collaboration with cross-functional partners to deliver the messaging, experiences, tools, and data necessary to continue to drive performance and efficiencies. Partner with cross-functional teams spanning eCommerce, Integrated Marketing, Demand Generation, Brand Marketing, Creative, and Sales to develop and execute strategic initiatives and drive attainment of digital advertising KPIs.

- Analysis & Insights: Partner with business stakeholders to establish clear goals and KPIs, and a regular cadence of reporting to foster a team culture of accountability and rigor towards business impact.

Basic Qualifications

- 8 years of experience in digital or performance marketing

- People manager with 5+ years' experience building marketing teams

- Experience marketing B2B and/or SaaS products

- Bachelor's degree in Business or Marketing

Preferred Qualifications

- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, including: modeling and forecasting, complex performance analysis, and detailed technical troubleshooting in the digital marketing space to drive growth and optimize for efficiency.

- Proven track record of leading subject matter experts to attain KPI targets and drive continuous efficiency improvements while working collaboratively with team members from all levels.

- Powerful written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage and influence senior management.

- Deep understanding of digital optimization and market dynamics driving cost and return on investment.

- Experience with digital marketing platforms and tools, specifically: LinkedIn advertising, Madison Logic content syndication, 3rd party publishers, Google display, DemandBase, Tech Target, Google Analytics, Google AdWords, Bing Ads. Familiarity with any of: RollWorks, Drupal, Eloqua, Facebook Ads, Google Tag Manager, Impact Radius, LiftOff, LiveRamp, Optimizely, or QlikSense a plus.

- SEO experience a strong plus.
