PTC is seeking a Solution Manager that will join the Digital Transformation Solutions team to identify, prioritize, develop and validate PTC manufacturing solutions to accelerate customers ability to deploy top Industrie 4.0 opportunities such as OT/IT convergence, digital transformation, digital thread, predictive maintenance, connected workers and augmented reality experiences for training, operations, quality and maintenance.

We are seeking a candidate that has experience with the manufacturing environment and a passion for bringing new innovative enterprise offerings to the market to significantly improve the traditional way of doing things in manufacturing operations and rapidly transform production environments into connected, real-time, predictive, mobile and augmented operations.

In this role, you will be part of the Digital Transformation Solutions team. This team works closely with key customers and leverages PTC platforms and products as well as capabilities and services from key partners to bring to life transformational offerings that deliver proven double digits impact, with speed and at enterprise scale.

Day-To-Day:
- Reporting to VP of Product Management, the candidate will own and drive a portion of the manufacturing solutions portfolio.
- Participate in customer, market and competitive research.
- Build a business plan for identified opportunities, focused on superior business value, adoption speed and deployment scale across global factory networks.
- Work closely with solution design and solution engineering to define and validate early solution concepts.
- Identify, prioritize and drive feature development with the R&D team.
- Define product requirements and maintain backlog.
- Work closely with a handful of customer co-innovators to validate viability, desirability & feasibility of new solutions in advance of commercial launch.
- Participate in defining positioning and enabling customer-facing organizations.
- Work with sales and customers to drive early referencesPreferred Skills and Knowledge:

The solution manager candidate must have a passion for solving real problems with innovative technology and great user experiences, be hands-on, result-driven, caring for details and able to deliver results in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities. Strong interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills are required. The Solution Manager will work extensively with leaders in Solutions, R&D, QA, Sales and Marketing, to ensure that objectives are met while maintaining and supporting other company priorities.

Preferred Experience:
- Experience with traditional manufacturing environments, such as connectivity, HMI, manufacturing execution systems (MES) and maintenance systems.
- Experience with innovative technology such as IIoT, predictive analytics and augmented reality.
- Excellent communication skills, leadership and collaboration competencies.
- Excellent presentation, time management, and partnering skills.
- Good organizational skills to prioritize and drive multiple tasks.
- Customer focused, results oriented, motivated and persistent.
- High level of initiative and works well in a matrix team environment.
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills with a strong awareness of global cultural differences; previous work experience in a multi-national / multi-cultural environment preferredBasic Qualifications:
