Job Summary

The FIU Wellness and Recreation Center is seeking qualified and experienced group fitness instructors with current and nationally accredited (NCCA-approved) certifications who specialize in Zumba/ Dance Fitness class instruction to provide group fitness class instruction as a part of our on-staff fitness team.
Duties Include:
* Ability to lead a diverse population through a safe and effective group fitness course
* Ability to adjust fitness programming within a session to accommodate clients as needed
* Effective time and schedule management skills
* Ability to arrive at least 15 mins prior to each scheduled group fitness class
* Effective communication skills
* Ability to maintain a consistent work schedule
* Reliable transportation
* Ability to abide by all policies and procedures of the WRC
* Ability to stand for extended periods of time
* Ability to lift at least 45 lbs. overhead
* Ability to maintain current fitness certification or license
