Job Description

The Student Records Assistant, reporting to the University Registrar, assists with the daily responsibilities of the Office of the Registrar. Accuracy, integrity, privacy and security of all academic records is the number one priority. The Registrar Assistant works to ensure compliance with published policies and procedures while providing outstanding customer service.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities
• Using appropriate software, assists in managing and maintaining student academic records
• Assists with training and documentation for online records functions for students, faculty and staff
• Assists with the collection and maintenance of student eligibility for graduation in conjunction with academic officials including; coordinating and managing the process for ordering diplomas
• Assists with the collection and management of student study plans; updating the student information system accordingly
• Assists with diploma preparation for graduation and coordination of diploma dissemination
• Assist with the registration process for students
• Assists with implementation of new functions/processes in the Office of the Registrar
• Input of approved transfer credits
• Assists with processing transcript requests
• Other duties as delegated

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree required
• High-level of technical competency required
• Customer service oriented
• Team focused
• Experience with a student information system or CRM required
• Prior experience in Higher Education preferred but not required

Skills and Abilities

Strong computer software skills; ability to work independently on multiple tasks with a high degree of accuracy; ability to work as part of a team; strong organizational and interpersonal skills; strong attention to detail
