The Hospital Director Laboratory Services will be supported by Section Managers of Lab and Supervisors of Lab for each core lab area. The Hospital Laboratory Services Director will work alongside the hospital senior leadership, physicians, and pathologists.

The Hospital Laboratory Services Director is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising all functions within the lab department. The Hospital Laboratory Services Director will oversee the operations of the department including testing, staffing, training, scheduling, budgeting, and maintaining supplies. In collaboration with physician leadership, the Hospital Laboratory Services Director will develop, implement, and oversee quality improvement plans with a focus on operation and service excellence. The Hospital Laboratory Services Director will ensure that services provided by the laboratory are high quality and cost effective.
