Job Description:

Arcadis is seeking an Environmental Engineer to support the Environment business line out of our Milwaukee, WI office. With the backing of one of the industry's leading technical and professional staffs, you will assist with project design and delivery, technical consulting, and field implementation for multiple regional clients. Arcadis provides multiple onboarding and development programs created for our young professionals that will expand professional growth and help drive creativity, innovation, and integration within our local, national, and global teams.

What you will do:


  • Field and office support of site investigations including soil, sediment, and groundwater characterization and sampling, drilling oversight, and monitoring well design and installation
  • Environmental remediation design and implementation tasks, including soil and groundwater remedial system and in-situ technology treatment design and assessments
  • Excavation and remediation field oversight
  • Preparing technical reports, work plans, feasibility studies, project specifications, permit applications, and technical memoranda
  • Operation, maintenance, and monitoring of remedial systems
  • Data Management to include compilation, evaluation, and presentation of findings
  • Assist project managers with planning environmental investigation and remediation tasks and preparing subcontracts, cost estimates, budgets, schedules, and proposals
  • Exhibiting ownership of delegated tasks, including responsibility for coordination and delivery of on-schedule and on-budget tasks
  • Assist with design calculations for the selection of treatment technologies and process design drawings for groundwater, industrial, water, and wastewater.
  • Interpretation and evaluation of field and analytical data to prepare engineering designs, permit applications, and construction-related documents

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering or related degree

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Professional license (EIT and/or GIT)
  • OSHA HAZWOPER 40 hr / 8 hr refresher training
  • Strong experience working with MS Office Software
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
