The Role:

The Merchant Services Enterprise Deal Pricing Manager has three primary responsibilities:

1) Develop custom pricing proposals for our largest ("Enterprise") global clients

2) Maintain various custom pricing models and enhance them through process improvement and improved controls

3) Engage in sensitivity analysis and scenario planning in conjunction with sales teams; present pricing proposals to Wholesale Payments leadership for approval

The manager will be expected to develop relationships outside Merchant Services and understand holistic product offerings in our Treasury Services, Commercial Card, and other connected businesses as to help present the best pricing in relation to an overall product suite. The manager will also be asked to lead other strategic-based initiatives, including evaluation of Product development and deployment, unique or new pricing constructs or concepts, and new means for acquiring new business. In this capacity, strong financial acumen and ability to develop and maintain strong control mechanisms is central to success.

The right candidate for this position will come with direct pricing and valuation experience and will have experienced knowledge of Merchant Services and the broader Payments Industry, including recent changes and its competitive nature.

Principal duties and responsibilities:

• Primary lead in complex pricing execution scenarios and ad-hoc requests in our largest ("Enterprise") global clients

• Oversight and improvement of pricing models used for our largest and most complex deals

• Integration of targeted product and cross-business strategies, opportunities to our custom pricing models

• Development of client-based reporting to aid Sales in pitching our unique offerings and potential client savings

• Facilitation of custom deal review, including sensitivity and scenario planning, and presentation to Wholesale Payments leadership

Experience Requirements:

• Degree in finance and/ or accounting; MBA, CPA, or CFA destination a plus

• 7+ years' experience in financial analysis with strong preference in pricing

• Familiarity with the payments industry, including an understanding of the payments value chain (merchants, brands, acquirers, networks, issuers)

• Familiarity with Treasury Service product offerings

Skill Requirements:

• Strong skillset in financial analysis; understanding of pricing techniques

• Ability to apply financial forensic techniques; identify and resolve data inconsistencies

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to work across businesses and support functions to ensure alignment of deal-based revenue generation goals

• Ability to work well with deadlines, including the unexpected
