Software Engineer - Sr. Associate

As a Software Engineer, you'll combine expertise with a never-ending quest to create innovative technology through solid engineering practices. You'll know what good looks like in software engineering. You'll be passionate about clean design, continuous delivery and testing, and high performance reactive systems. You'll be bored by waterfall, repeat work. You'll be constantly looking to re-invent and simplify and raise the bar.

Qualifications:


  • 3+ years of experience
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines
  • Hands-on development and programming experience on the Java 8+/Java EE stack including Functional and Reactive development models
  • Hands-on experience with a cloud platform such as Pivotal Cloud Foundry, AWS, or container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is a plus
  • Hands on experience on latest Spring & SpringBoot Framework including Webflux
  • Understanding of architecture and design across all systems
  • Working proficiency in developmental toolsets
  • Ability to collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals
  • Understanding of high-level enterprise architecture and software design
  • Good experience on data streaming (ex. Kafka), data messaging and event driven systems.
  • Experience with persistence technologies such as SQL and No-SQL (ex. Cassandra) platforms
  • Experience with modern agile software delivery practices such as scrum, continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD), TDD, and BDD, DevOps, and automation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required for the role
