What will you be doing and how will you make a difference at American Senior Communities?
Work collaboratively with Senior Leaders, HR Business Partners, Talent Development team to diagnose needs and evolve our Talent Development offerings and programs
Designs, develops and delivers informal and formal learning solutions that are engaging and effective using a variety of learning technologies to address specific needs.
Conducts training to instruct managers, supervisors, and employees; includes training on supervisory skills, conflict resolution skills, interpersonal communication skills, and effective group interaction skills.
Develop and implement the vision, strategy and objectives of the Learning & Development workstream including early career development, skills training, career pathing, targeted development for high-potential talent, diversity and inclusion programming, excellence in management and motivational leadership programs.
Foster a collaborative learning culture through a focus on continuous improvement and training integration with other HR programs.
Conduct needs assessment with HR business partners and business leaders to identify organizational development needs; recommend tactics and learning modalities to address key opportunity areas and provide consultation to enable implementation.
Support HR Business Partners in implementing Performance Management process across company
Partner with Communications and company leadership to develop productive relationships with industry associations and diversity organizations
Coach team members in pursuit of company goals and individualized career development.
Identify inefficiencies in processes and encourage innovative thinking and decision making.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration or related field or equivalent work experience
5+ years’ experience in designing, developing and delivering programs within an organization or as a consultant
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, survey design programs and Learning Management Systems
Solid knowledge and experience with best practices in leadership development and talent management
Excellent time and project management skills, with highly developed ability to juggle competing priorities
