Job Title: Test Method Engineer

Location: Neenah, WI or Roswell, GA

Summary Of Position:

Design Control Team Test Method Engineer provides technical expertise in product testing methodology, specifically regarding physical bench testing and product performance testing, to connect stakeholder learning needs with relevant technology, vendors and methods that deliver business value, as well as to build local regional research team knowledge and capabilities.

Responsibilities:


  • Partner with global and regional teams to develop and implement product testing plans that build global capability

  • Support regions through physical testing equipment identification, startup and local vendor qualifications to enable long term success with focused effort on KCNA EMEA, and YK

  • Implement, refine and monitor process for regions to utilize global testing vendors, as well as each other’s global capabilities

  • Maintain proficiency and understanding of internal KC capabilities, third-party industry capabilities and industry best practices to guide research teams for business applications

  • Work with test method development technical leader to lead global KC community of practice to share and monitor best practices, new learning and updates for bench and product performance testing methodologies

  • Monitor global vendor usage and provide guidance to further regional capability building

  • Provide input on study design and testing methods for claims

  • Collaborate with other internal testing teams (GMRA, GPS, GR&E Analytical) for best practices

Skills:


  • Experience in delivering consumer and physical testing plans across a broad range of methods and product forms

  • In-depth knowledge of the science of consumer and market research methods and practices, technical documentation and presentations

  • Knowledge of physical testing methods and their application to product and materials development

  • Working understanding of statistical analysis methods and experimental design and ability to transform statistical results into actionable knowledge

  • Working ability to recognize research trends and apply insights for methodology development and application

  • Basic Ad Claim and Benefit Visualization knowledge

Basic Qualifications:


  • Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Materials, Physical or Analytical Science, or demonstrated equivalent scientific ability based on relevant experience and appropriate, but lesser, formal education

  • Minimum: 3+ years of work experience utilizing physical testing methods and/or project management

  • Successful engagement in team-oriented environment to successfully deliver business results
