Job Description:

The Sales Enablement Specialist partners with Sales Leaders and Partners across the USIS business unit, diagnoses performance issues and learning needs, identifies appropriate training-based solutions, and develops learning frameworks to facilitate achievement of the business unit’s goals. 

He/she will have the opportunity to be part of a newly developing Equifax University program, which is designed to provide ongoing developmental training opportunities for various roles across Equifax USIS, including sales, leadership, marketing, product, etc. The Sales Enablement Consultant will be responsible for implementing the strategic vision that ensures innovative, high-quality training opportunities are delivered with precision.

This position will report to the Sales Enablement Leader over Sales Effectiveness, as part of USIS Sales Operations & Enablement.

About the Team

The Sales Ops & Enablement team is a dynamic team of A-players who work together to break down barriers and drive the modernization of the sales culture across Equifax, USIS. We exist to increase predictable sales results by providing consistent, scalable enablement services that allow customer-facing professionals and their managers to add value in every customer interaction. Our team directly impacts selling time, win rates, deal sizes, sales technology, process and methodologies, etc.. And - we have a lot of fun winning as a team!

What You'll Do


  • Analyze and improve existing L&D frameworks and develop a training skills matrix


  • Engage in vendor management, budget management, strategic sourcing, program marketing, and internal communication of learning events


  • Establish a project plan and conduct a cost/benefit analysis for any recommendations made to business units


  • Evaluate business unit’s overall learning requirements, business objectives, desired results, and constraints; conduct a skills assessment to identify specific training needs


  • Identify and implement improvements in training curriculum and courseware using industry standard testing methods, needs analysis, and methods of redesigning training programs


  • Develop new and improve existing e-learning courses using modern technologies and adult learning best practices


  • Investigate available training methods and procedures to determine the most effective manner by which to meet specific learning needs


  • Negotiate resources required to conduct training sessions, assign specific training activities to other L&D personnel, or hire appropriate vendors to conduct training


  • Measure and track learning completions, feedback, and ROI to drive future training prioritizations


  • Produce periodic L&D reports outlining learning needs accompanied by recommendations and implications, such as changes in operations, budget, or quality


Qualifications


  • 5-7 years experience in creating and developing L&D and/or sales enablement programs


  • Previous experience and or knowledge of B2B selling principles and the ability to understand the challenges that the sales team encounters is desired


  • Bachelor’s degree in related discipline or equivalent experience


  • Ability to develop a holistic view of performance problems, identify root causes, and suggest training-based solutions


  • Analytical, communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills


  • Collaboration skills including the ability to integrate and act upon the diverse perspectives of business unit managers, instructional designers, corporate HR and external vendors


  • Consulting skills including client-facing skills aimed at determining the client’s need, perceived roadblocks, business unit culture, and work environment issues


  • Knowledge of training and organizational development theories and practices, instructional design models, and e-learning standards (e.g. SCORM and AICC)


  • Project management skills and ability to facilitate organizing and managing multiple priorities and/or projects


  • Risk mitigation skills to help eliminate potential roadblocks in the design and delivery of training programs


  • Strong business acumen and understanding of the impact of training on overall corporate performance


  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills​
