Job Description:

The Account Executive position is responsible for the direct sale of Employer Verification Services (The Work Number) to middle market companies (200-5,000 employees).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Identifies and develops new business opportunities and will call on key decision makers of prospective clients. 

  • Primarily an inside sales position with potential travel for larger opportunities.

  • Makes follow-up calls and conducts research to qualify sales leads.

  • Effectively manage assigned territory.

  • Builds and maintains prospective customer relationships.

  • Enters prospect data and other sales data into database.

Qualifications and Competencies:


  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Excellent presentation skills

  • Client service oriented

  • Strong problem solving and market research skills

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree,  preferably in business

  • 3-5 years successful service-based solution selling in a business-to-business environment dealing with senior management

  • Inside sales experience

  • Proficient with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office applications

  • Knowledge of Salesforce CRM or similar prospect management database

  • 5% to 10% regional travel
