Job Description

This role provides FACETS application expertise and knowledge that supports our core business processes such as claims adjudication, membership enrollment, financial processing, etc. This role's technical support and business operational expertise will ensure that comprehensive solutions are being developed and implemented (e.g., application/system configuration and analysis, issue resolution, project/program support, etc.) without negatively impacting the current operating environment and systems.

Technical Support/Business Expertise:
- Provide business and technical knowledge to support proactive technical solutioning for complex and multifaceted business issues, while considering broader impacts of technical decisions.
- Independently facilitate discussions with business areas to review, analyze, and develop solutions for critical business systems/applications.
- Identify solutions and make appropriate recommendations to the business area supported.
- Coordinate ongoing user support including complex ad hoc questions, inquiries, and service requests.
- Coordinates and/or conducts data and trend analysis and proactively collaborates with business areas and IT in order to improve system/application performance

Issue Resolution:
- Facilitate the resolution of larger, highly complex production system/application problems by:
- Performing initial triage for severity and business impact of system/application failures.
- Solving problems and analyzing to resolve root cause of issues,
- Developing applicable solutions to ensure quality, cost efficiency, timeliness of customer service, and regulatory requirements and mandates are met.
- Coordinating with IT, other teams and vendors as needed to devise, test and implement immediate and long term remedies.
- Responsible for the development of system support processes with IT; coordinate daily to resolve production support issues, including application failures and user errors; document, track and report all system support activities

Project/Program Support:
- Facilitates discussions with the business and IT on projects and initiatives to elicit and document business requirements and prepare appropriate functional specifications while considering technical capabilities of the system/application and ensuring a coordinated approach is used.
- Act as Business Lead/Coordinator on large or complex projects or initiatives.
- Facilitates project intake, including scheduling of projects.
- Review and approve technical specifications
- Coordinates with IT on implementation and post implementation support
Hiring Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree with 5 years of FACETS application/systems analysis experience; specifically back-end (data knowledge) is REQUIRED.
- If no degree, 7 years of FACETS application/systems analysis experience; specifically back-end (data knowledge) is REQUIRED.
- Health Care knowledge and experience with a focus on (end to end) claims processing, system configuration and analysis is REQUIRED.
- Direct experience solving claims and/or membership issues.
- Direct consultative experience to identify and gather business intelligence with proactive development of business processes and solutions
- Direct experience with automated tools to perform analysis and reporting (i.e. Business Objects, query writing) is required.
