Job Description SummaryWe have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Proposal Manager to join our West Region GOS team in our San Francisco office. Working closely with our regional sales leads, you ll coordinate with subject matter experts in operations, pricing and technology in the preparation of complex proposals and presentations. Job Description
Responsibilities
Proposal Development: Responsible for leading and managing proposal management - ensuring the clarity, compliance and integrity of all proposal documents. This role serves as a key liaison coordinating all internal work streams to finalize proposal responses tracks and reviews all proposal content with cross functional business teams, and oversees the submission of the final proposal.
- Lead the entire proposal process ensuring that every member of the proposal team, including sales leads, operational subject matter experts, pricing, solution team members, knowledge management and graphic designers know what is expected of them and when tasks are due.
- Create the proposal responsibility matrix and schedule and keep track of proposal progress
- Help develop and communicate win themes, strategies and creative design approaches
- Work closely with sales leads and operational subject matter experts as contributors and/or reviewers
- Write, edit and format all proposal deliverables
- Identify all graphic design needs and engage appropriate design resources
- Oversee production and on-time electronic and/or hardcopy delivery to clients
- Support the preparation of other deliverables related to the opportunity such as presentations and follow-up requests
- Support new content development efforts and strategic firm initiatives as needed
Process Improvements & Best Practices: Leverage past professional experience to identify and introduce process improvements and best practices related to business development and proposal management. Champion efforts to ensure all deliverables are aligned with the firm s brand.

Qualifications:
At least 5-7 years of related business development/proposal management experience. Experience in the professional services industry preferred. Other qualifications that will enable you to excel in this position include:
- Demonstrated ability to assimilate, coordinate and respond to global and regional RFIs and RFPs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Effective presentation skills
- Excellent inter-personal skills
- Positive outlook and commitment to working collaboratively
- Teaming with key stakeholders across the firm to develop winning proposals
- Ability to translate complex concepts and ideas into clear communications
- Ability to interface with people at all levels of the organization including senior executives, cross-functional and regional teams in the US, EMEA and APAC
- Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented
- Able to work well and thrive under pressure
- Energetic, positive and creative
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information
- Service minded, proactive and flexible approach
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat. InDesign and desktop publishing skills are a plus
- Experience with SharePoint and Salesforce
