Reporting to the VP, Clinical Services, the Operations Director is responsible for providing strategic leadership, guidance and tactical direction. The Director will support the advancement of key priorities of the leadership team, including strategic opportunities aligned with growth and performance. The Director leads the development and ongoing analysis of performance measures related to clinical partnership, including but not limited to KPI's, quality of care, and other operational metrics. This individual works with an analytical team responsible for providing analysis, tracking, and research and problem resolution for issues. This individual works with Clinical Operations management to develop and continuously optimize all the operations functions. In addition, the position will act as the subject matter expert and liaison between the Clinical Partnership staff and other departments on key corporate initiatives. Applying a data driven approach, as seen through a clinical quality lens, the Director identifies strengths, gaps and inefficiencies, recommends clinical and operational process improvements, and rigorously audits to assure efficiency and effectiveness. The Director is at home in a fast paced, entrepreneurial team as a player/coach who is devoted to responsibly reduce health care costs while concurrently improving clinical quality and increasing Net Promoter Scores (NPS) for providers and patients. This position is responsible for leading cost effective, high quality, combining disciplined business process and information technology that deliver value to members while supporting the staff with education, tools, and standardized workflows.

This position can be based at any of our primary office locations in Massachusetts and will require travel throughout the state based on business needs.

What You'll Be Doing

Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams and identifies areas for improvement
- Assembles cross functional work groups to work to create process/performance improvements
- Responsible for successful and efficient operations
- Drive operational excellence solutions to yield highest level of patient visit efficiency, clinician proficiency and correlated business and clinical outcomes
- Apply a continuous data driven, clinical quality focus, to E2E process design and adoption to mine for strengths, vulnerability, pain points, and automation opportunities
- Maintain clinical, operational and financial metrics/KPI's
- Maintain & update dashboards for reviewing key performance indicators
- Maintain SOP's and workflows
- Understand regulatory program requirements
Secondary Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage Vendor relationships
- Provide a voice and perspective for internal stakeholders, C-suite executives, and external partners
- Support leadership team to develop strategic direction and guide growth

What We're Looking For

- Bachelor's Degree
- Master's Degree Preferred
- 10+ years of health care delivery experience
- 3+ years of experience leading a complex operations environment including managing in a production environment and leading operational improvement
- Proven track record of developing, monitoring and managing to performance metrics
- Well-developed planning capabilities with a track record of achieving results, controlling costs, setting budgets and meeting deadlines
- Ability to think critically, drive change and influence individuals at all levels of the organization and to take appropriate risks
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience working with senior-level management
- Demonstrated leadership skills.
- Demonstrated track record of clinical operating experience, with evidence of expertise in building, operationalizing, managing and constantly improving systems of care delivery
- A natural educator who engages using personal rather than positional influence grounded in substance not style
- Innovative thinking with demonstrated process design and proven improvement metrics
- Ability to formulate a team, set performance related goals, inspire and engage
- Consulting experience with a focus on operations management
- Proven success in a project coordination role
- Nimble business mind with a focus on developing creative solutions
- Strong project reporting skills, with a focus on interdepartmental communication
