The IB Finance portfolio management team is responsible for ensuring the annual IB CtB budget (~450m CHF) is disbursed appropriately and managed to target. The team works closely with partners across IB Change Management, IB Finance, IB IT and central Group functions to plan out the annual book of work, define and execute governance processes, monitor spend and forecast vs. targets, resource management, demand management, time management, and reporting. Our work is integral to the execution of IB's wider strategic objectives, and contributes to the division's ability to achieve cost and profitability targets.

We are looking for an Assistant Vice President AVP in our Raleigh location to carry out the following:

  • Financial review and approval of new CtB program business cases
  • Own the monthly forecast and actuals process of the IB Portfolio. Assist product lines as needed to generate reports or provide intelligence from the portfolio data
  • Track weekly time compliance for 8000 FTE
  • Participate in monthly forecast process for IB and represent IB IT on calls to explain deviation of actuals to forecast, and forecast to budget
  • Represent portfolio on calls that reconciles cost accounting with portfolio and provide portfolio expertise
  • OnePPM support that involves deep knowledge of the system behavior to support our user community on OnePPM process and standard practices
  • Quality control of IB Programs and ensure they are aligned with global standards
  • Review and Approve program change request like cost, schedule or scope.
  • Manage the portfolio hierarchy including business areas, programs, and project. Submit changes on behalf of IB IT
  • Definition and maintenance of the IB Portfolio Management Operating Model

  • Possess a minimum of 6 years of transferrable work experience in financial services, program management or related roles
  • Excellent interpersonal and client management skills
  • Previous OnePPM experience is a big plus!
  • Proficiency in Excel and Powerpoint is essential
  • Result oriented, ability to learn quickly and attention to detail
  • Confident analyzing and interpreting financial data
  • Hardworking with the ability to perform in a fast paced environment
