Job Description

A Dredging Runner provides clerical support to the Project Manager and Dredge Captain.  

Essential Job Functions

• Filing and general office work for project management.


• Check deliveries of supplies and materials against purchase orders and packing slip.


• Pick up parts and supplies and deliver to the dredge or job site attending plants.


• Pickup or take employees to the airport, doctors, hospital or crew dock.


• Prepare and mail packages for the dredge and job site.


• Pickup and deliver daily mail to the dredge and attending plants.


• Follows all company and work site safety policies/procedures and commits to an “Incident and Injury Free” work environment

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required


• Ability to work a 40 hour work week M-F, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., additional hours as needed


• Proficient in MS Office


• This position requires fluent use of the verbal and written English language


• Candidates local to job site in Brunswick, GA preferred

Required Certifications or Licenses

• Driver’s license (with a clean driving record)

Physical Requirements

• Ability to remain in seated stationary position for long periods of time


• Ability to navigate around office to use equipment as needed


• Light lifting (Up to 20 lbs) as needed
