Deere & Company is seeking a Software Engineer, Operations in Moline, IL with the following requirements: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field or foreign academic equivalent plus 3 years of related experience. Prior experience must include: design, architect and deliver enterprise-grade, distributed, mission-critical, microservice based applications (3 yrs); maintain infrastructure through technologies like Amazon web services (AWS), EC2, S3, Elasticsearch, SQS, SNS, lambda, Elastic Container Service, Azure Virtual Machines (AVM), Azure Container Service (AKS), Azure Queue Storage and/or WebSphere, Linux and Java Virtual Machine (3 yrs); implement DB search engines like Elasticsearch, Apache Solr, Hibernate Search (3 yrs); develop applications using DB2, Oracle, MySQL, SAP HANA, Redis, MongoDB, Cassandra as backend databases (3 yrs). 10% travel required.
