The Residential Trade Leader will grow and lead the interior design trade business in an RH gallery. S/he will have strong leadership qualities, coupled with experience working in the interior design industry. The Residential Trade Leader is an innovator with an entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for building a thriving trade business.

They will understand the importance of attracting and retaining talent who uphold the same personal standards and passions. Residential Trade Leaders are expected to deliver first-class service to our client and our teams, creating a luxury experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Live and breathe Our Values and Beliefs
  • Build, lead, educate and inspire an effective and successful team dedicated to servicing the interior design trade
  • Attract the right talent at all levels for our ever-changing business in an effort to build successful teams
  • Work in partnership with the Gallery Leader to develop strategies for the trade business
  • Connect and establish partnerships with the gallery team and members of our entire organization
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally
  • Lead and/or oversee multiple trade projects of various scope for the entire gallery
  • Learn and communicate the RH design point of view and product assortment
  • Achieve goals and consistently contribute to gallery success
  • Represent RH at design community events and through consistent networking
  • Remain current on all local and global design publications
  • Support RH's growing trade business in other galleries by sharing learnings and best practices

REQUIREMENTS

  • 5+ years experience in a high-end interior design showroom or equivalent preferred
  • Undergraduate degree preferred
  • Business experience preferred
  • Member of design organization and/or commitment to continued education/certificates
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Ability to read and understand floor plans

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must have clean driving record (MVR) and current driver's license
  • Ability to travel locally or out of state
  • Ability to lift and mobilize small to medium items, up to 25 lbs. while utilizing appropriate equipment and safety techniques
  • Ability to maneuver effectively around gallery floor, stock room and office
  • Position entails prolonged standing, twisting, stooping, kneeling, squatting, bending and climbing
