Job Description:

Job Overview: 

The Supervisor of Sales Support is responsible for managing customer reporting, custom programs, operational challenges, and financial tracking. They are also responsible for collaborating with the Sales Manager to ensure consistency in execution, communication and delivery to the sales teams. Ensures reporting activities are in conjunction with the customer agreement.

 
Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities: 


  • Executes and tracks customer?s business as outlined in agreement, and any additional requests from leadership as business evolves.

  • Directs resources to improve sales and margin.

  • Supports the sales analysis reviews for key customer facing business reviews.

  • Coordinates and collaborates with Operations during distribution center transitions/changes to ensure a smooth execution.

  • Assists with book of business reviews and sales reporting on weekly, monthly, quarterly or as needed.

  • Collaborates with finance to review margin enhancement opportunities.

  • Sales project lead for critical sales initiatives as defined by leadership.

  • Lead team members through effective objective setting, delegation, and communication.

  • Manage team members to established metrics.

  • Responsible for mentoring new and current team members.

  • Implement sales strategies and training to exceed sales and profit margin goals.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor?s Degree strongly preferred.

  • 2+ years sales and supervisory experience.

  • Understanding and knowledge of company products.

  • Experience developing and executing business plans, sales plans, and/or commission plans.

  • Understanding of sales forecasting, programs, promotions and related techniques.

  • Understanding of pricing, margin and company profitability (FP&A).

  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding customer expectations. Demonstrated ability to drive new business and close sales.

  • Proficient in the MS Office Suite.

  • Advanced data analysis experience.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
