District Overview

Kiewit Equipment Services (KES) helps to ensure the profitability of Kiewit projects through the improved equipment utilization and mechanical reliability by delivering world-class equipment and service.

Responsibilities

  • Manage programs, policies, and practices to ensure that Kiewit is in compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory requirements, company policies and contractual agreements

  • Tracks laws and regulations that might affect the organizations policies

  • Prepare compliance reports to present to management

  • Research quality or compliance issues and recommend changes for improvements

  • Proactively support our goals and strategies

  • Identify gaps by utilizing reporting tools, analysis data, metrics and other tools while researching ways to improve, develop and deliver strategic solutions.

  • Develop and maintain a network of working relationships with all levels of Kiewit management

    Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree preferred

  • Experience managing direct reports

  • Knowledge of payroll regulations (ie. tax, garnishments, union benefits, internal controls)

  • 2+ years experience in, regulatory compliance, and process improvement

  • SAP experience a plus

  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals

  • Must be able to develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize and accomplish work

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

  • Ability to solve unique problems with creative solutions

  • Strong communication skills

  • Vigorous understanding of the interrelationship among processes, risks and controls

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications required
