Supply Chain Engineer at Griffith Foods

Job Description:

To drive and support the continuous improvement of Supply Chain through the development, maintenance, and implementation of advanced analytics capabilities and processes leveraging ERP, advanced analytics and other SC systems to drive the continuous improvement and integration of data science into Supply Chain activities and decision-making.

The Supply Chain Engineer is responsible of maintaining and developing information tools and provides analysis and visibility on key information.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Planning Process Support & Improvement:


  • Maintain existing queries and reports. (Ensure functionality and accessibility).


  • Point of contact for SC teams to get access through working and collaborate with IT.


  • Further improvements of existing reports and analysis to improve decision making process based on data.


  • Develop new queries for Supply Chain following internal security and governance protocols.


  • Facilitates the identification and execution of improvements of the ERP system utilization to align with defined optimal processes.


  • Supports ERP parameters regular updates (lead times, Safety stocks, MOQ, etc.)


  • Supports Planning & Logistics Standard Operating Procedures revision and proper documentation.


  • Identify and improve new processes within the Supply Chain Department.


Key Initiatives Process Support:


  • Supports strategic key initiatives such as Sales & Operations Planning process, Science of Supply Chain and Inventory loss.


  • Provide analysis and intelligence to the S&OP process including data and graphs.


Planning execution responsibilities


  • Support and Back up for Planning team.


  • To support Inventory Projection and tracking.


  • Responsible for maintaining the security of all information regarding Products, Customers and raw materials.


Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain/Operations Research, Information Engineering, Information Systems, or other technical business field.


  • 1-3 years of experience is required.


  • Proficienct in SQL, SSMS, ERP database systems.


  • APICS/ CPIM preferred.


  • ERP system knowledge; DAX preferred.


  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.


  • Ability to take initiative to identify and initiate improvements across various processes and systems.


  • Ability to organize and present information to wide variety of people.


  • Excellent skills in organization, prioritizing and managing time.


  • Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.


  • Proficient computer skills are required. Advanced Excel usage including but not limited to VLOOKUP, pivot table usage and development, formula development.
