The Cardiovascular Nursing Director will work within an acute care hospital that provides advanced services such as open-heart surgery, specialized cancer treatments, trauma care, vascular care, neurosurgery, as well as orthopedic and spinal care. The Cardiovascular Nursing Director will lead a dynamic cardiovascular service line that offers a variety of procedures and surgeries to help diagnose and treat illnesses and irregularities of the heart. This award-winning cardiovascular program is equipped to treat a variety of heart conditions including aortic aneurysms, arrhythmias, blood clots, cardiomyopathy and congestive heart failure, congenital heart disease, heart attacks, high blood pressure and cholesterol, strokes, and much more. The cardiovascular service line utilizes diagnostic procedures, minimally invasive procedures, medications, heart surgeries, and cardiac rehabilitation to best treat all patients.

Under direction of the Chief Nursing Officer, the Cardiovascular Nursing Director will be responsible for the overall management, coordination, and direction of multiple inpatient units within the cardiovascular service line. The Nursing Director will be expected to collaborate with organizational leadership to best support the annual operating plan, achieve goals set by the department of nursing, oversee all personnel management of the assigned areas, and will serve as a leader on management teams and committees as needed.
