The Clinical Nurse Specialist NICU will be part of a team that specializes in neonatal care. This unit is focused on promoting a patient-focused and healthy work environment.The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit has a rapid response team prepared to care for critically ill infants and plenty of opportunity for growth. The NICU provides services form open-heart surgery to ECMO.

The Clinical Nurse Specialist will have specialized expertise and knowledge to support nurses and other staff in caring for patients. Responsible for ensuring the utilization of evidence-based practice in order to achieve the greatest patient and clinical outcomes. The CNS will colloborate with physician leadership, Neonatal ICU based educator, and staff counsils to care for neonates.
