Reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer, the RN Director Mother / Baby will oversee a large, busy department. This oversight includes Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, Nursery and NICU Services, as well as an outstanding Obstetrics Emergency Department. Supporting the Director are 4 Nursing Managers who specialize in these units, and will greatly contribute to the department’s success. Working with such a large team will require excellent communication and interpersonal skills to balance collaboration across the Service Line. 

The Labor and Delivery department has 10+ beds, with over 15 postpartum suites, and an excellent Lactations Services Team. On the Children’s side, is a beautiful Nursery, as well as a high-acuity Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). 

The RN Director Mother / Baby will take on a large, busy Service Line, overseeing both clinical and administrative excellence. This person will serve as a mentor to the staff, sponsoring training, skills development, and performance improvement. As an administrator, the Director will oversee budget, staffing, and quality assurance initiatives. An ideal candidate for this role, will be able to develop and nurture positive professional relationships both internally and across operational boundaries.
