A Magnet designated acute-care hospital located in central Vermont is now searching for an experienced Molecular Diagnostic Laboratory Medical Technologist Lead to join their accredited healthcare team.

The Molecular Diagnostic Laboratory Medical Technologist Lead will join a highly advanced clinical team and will work in depth with an innovative group of nurses, high quality diagnostic and ancillary services, and a broad array of sophisticated equipment technology. The Molecular Diagnostic Laboratory Medical Technologist Lead will work in a fast-paced molecular diagnostic laboratory setting that provides quick and accurate testing when patients need it most. The Molecular Diagnostic Laboratory Medical Technologist Lead will work with a laboratory department that is responsible for servicing every department in the hospital including the emergency department as well as the cancer center. The Laboratory services in total include hematology, chemistry, anatomical pathology, microbiology, blood bank, and reference department.

The Molecular Diagnostic Laboratory Medical Technologist Lead will have the overall responsible for the planning, coordination, evaluation, and oversight of all technical and operational activities within the Molecular Diagnostic Lab. The Molecular Diagnostic Laboratory Medical Technologist Lead will also ensure compliance with all regulatory agencies including federal, state, and local regulations. This position requires at least 3 years of prior Medical Technologist experience in a similar laboratory setting. The Molecular Diagnostic Laboratory Medical Technologist Lead must have current Medical Technologist certification through the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP).
