The large 300+ bed hospital is dedicated to working cooperatively to nurture and advance the care for families in their community. This medical center was awarded “Magnet designation” from American Nurses Credentialing Center. The Pediatrics Clinical Charge Nurse Surgery will be part of a medical team that is continuously growing and providing new opportunities.

This hospital has 8 ORS and performs about 30-40 surgeries a day. The Lead RN Pediatric Surgical Services will supervise specialized nurses and collaborate with board certified physicians and anesthesiologists to provide patients with high quality care. The surgery department specializes in heart, gastrointestinal, and orthopedic surgeries.

The Pediatric Charge Nurse of Perioperative Services will report to the Manager of Surgical Services. Responsibilities for the Charge RN include overall supervision of the unit, staffing, scheduling, and organizing the unit. The Pediatric Charge RN of Surgical Services will make sure that a nurturing environment is maintained for employees and patients.
