The Program Manager of Infection Control will work under the general direction of the Nurse Director of Quality, Risk, and Accreditation. Working with inpatient and outpatient leaders, the Infection Control Manager will lead an outstanding team of Infection Prevenionists, Epidemiologists, and Infection Control Specialists who work throughout the individual hospital patient-care units and the community. This team is made up of Registered Nurses, Public Health Experts, and CLS / MLT Laboratory specialists. 

Serving as a subject matter expert on Infection Prevention, Epidemiology, and Program Administration, the Manager of Infection Control will take a large role within the organization. This incoming leader will coordinate infection surveillance, education, and control measures to assure that the transmission risks and complications are minimized to Hospital clients, personnel, and visitors.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, as well as the ability to gain buy-in and support from a wide array of hospital leaders. The Program Manager should have strong experience educating, consulting, and coordinating improvements initiatives in an Acute Care Environment.
