An accredited acute care hospital located just outside New York City is currently searching for an experienced Cardiac Cath Lab Radiology Technologist to join their award-winning healthcare team.

This established acute care facility was founded over one hundred years ago and today houses nearly 400 licensed beds and offers a wide variety of medical and surgical services. This state-of-the-art medical center provides a number of patient care services including behavioral health, oncology services, cardiopulmonary and vascular services, emergency and critical care, radiology services, maternity and pediatric care, wound and home care, and much more.

The Cardiac Cath Lab Radiology Technologist will work within a cardiac catheterization lab that is equipped to diagnose blood clots, heart attacks, heart valve disease, chest pains and shortness of breath, cardiomyopathy, coronary artery disease, heart failure, vague stress tests, and coronary artery birth defects. The Cardiac Cath Lab Radiology Technologist will also work hands on with the patients serving as a clinical expert, assist with pre and post patient assessments and direct patient care within the scope of practice.

The Cardiac Cath Lab Radiology Technologist will be responsible for hemodynamic monitoring, circulating and scrubbing roles during invasive cardiovascular, cardiac device implantable procedures, basic electrophysiology and other procedures within the cardiac and catheterization lab. The Cardiac Cath Lab Radiology Technologist must have a Bachelor’s degree and must have current ARRT certification. At least 5 years of current experience in Peripheral Vascular Interventional, EP and Cardiac Catheterization procedures is required.
