Summary

CRH Americas Inc. is seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney to join our Corporate legal group.  Areas of law to include: Environmental Law, Construction Law, and General Business Litigation.  This is a “hands on” position with exposure to a large volume and a variety of litigation.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

• Hands on responsibility for the management of a variety of litigation, including the handling of regulatory matters.


• Assist businesses with environmental compliance activities.


• Draft and manage responses to regulatory inquiries.


• Perform environmental due diligence related to potential transactions.


• Partner and advise all levels of business management and leadership.


• Analyze proposed transactions to ensure that they comport with applicable regulatory and compliance laws.


• Travel up to 20%

 

Experience/Education

 

• 3 or more years’ experience as a litigation attorney; internally within a corporation or within a firm.


• Proven track record of working all facets of litigation, including environmental litigation.


• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.


• Active member in good standing in one or more jurisdictions, with the ability to be admitted to the Georgia bar with six months of hiring

• Background in construction/materials related industries would be helpful for this position, but not required.
