Principal, Performance Analytics

The Medicare Acquisition Marketing Team is responsible for building, executing, and optimizing campaigns to drive leads and sales for the Senior Markets Line of Business. In addition, our team is accountable for ensuring we are leveraging best-in-class thinking, insights, technology, emerging media channels to drive year-over-year improvements in the efficiency of our marketing investment. We strive to move at the speed of retail, and often have to make last minute shifts due to changing market dynamics or new competitive opportunities. The Principal, Performance Analytics will report to the Sr, Manager Digital, Performance Analytics & Data Strategy. They will be accountable for partnering with other team members in marketing strategy, brand, and others to architect a data capture and measurement system, within an omni-channel, digital acquisition environment that effectively deciphers, visualizes and communicates actionable insights.

This role requires an exceptional strategic marketer who can bring analytical thought leadership, question business objectives and provide clear direction to an Agency and internal teams who both implement the analytics system and reporting dashboards.

As our capabilities evolve and our audience changes, this person must be motivated by an environment rooted in constant transformation. Must have a roll-up your sleeves and pitch in attitude when it comes to managing work and problem solving. The successful candidate will also have strong executive communication skills.

Other Accountabilities

- Accountable for partnering with cross-functional teams and agency partners to develop a sustainable analytics and insights engine within a highly-segmented, omni-channel environment.

- Coordinate efforts across internal teams and external agencies to extract intended business outcomes to set performance KPIs and benchmarks.

- Oversee CRM/Marketing Automation campaign channel performance. Includes the collection, aggregation and visualization of performance data.

- Utilize statistical techniques to analyze and interpret trends by channels, geographies, and personas to create a narrative behind the data and share actionable insights and business strategies with senior marketing leadership and channel owners to maximize campaign performance.

- Ensure data integrity in all reporting generated by the Channel and Audience Analysts.

- Constantly question and seek input to evolve the value of marketing insights

- Drive large, complex project initiatives of strategic importance to the organization, involving large cross-functional teams

- Partner with cross-functional teams and agency partners to develop a sustainable analytics and insights engine within a highly-segmented, omni-channel environment.

- May direct the work of other individual contributors and/or act as a cross-functional team lead

Knowledge and Experience Requirements

- Bachelor's degree required with a concentration in marketing, statistics or similar

- 10+ years of experience analyzing and reporting on lead generation and audience metrics

- Ability to perform quantitative and qualitative market analysis to identify key market statistics and interpret findings to create insights from that data

- Expert in analyzing and interpreting marketing data to draw conclusions

- Highly organized, detail-orientated, and self-motivated

- Experience working within an omni-channel environment

- Superb executive communication skills: written and verbal. Ability to adapt communication style to audience.

- Strong Influence Skills: Ability to influence other to adapt strategic plan.

- Team Player: Proven ability to work collaboratively across functional areas and with Sales and Product, and Line of business leadership

- Proven ability to work collaboratively to get more out of Agency Partners

- Excellent Problem-Solving Skills: Works in partnership with team members and our agency to understand root cause of complex issues and problems, and work on an expedited resolution

- Demonstrates resiliency and ability to lead through immense change and uncertainty

- Adapts well to difficult situations and build trust with others; Excels at managing through conflict and demonstrates ability to influence peers to work collaboratively

- Must function independently in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to change

- Advanced knowledge of Google Marketing Platform and Salesforce Marketing Cloud

- Expertise in Google Analytics

- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel including the ability to create pivot tables and visualize with charts and heat maps

- Advanced knowledge in visualizing data in PowerPoint presentations

- Advanced knowledge in Tableau
