JOB SUMMARY

The chief objective of this position:

To provide continuous observation, interpretation, documentation and communication of pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patient cardiac rhythms. To prepare and maintain telemetry records and to maintain a functioning telemetry system.

AHA BLS HCP Certification or equivalent preferred

Experience REQUIRED:

One (1) year Nursing Assistant, Medical Assistant experience or a combination of science/healthcare education and/or patient-care related work experience that included arrhythmia interpretation

Experience PREFERRED

Academic health care experience preferred

Education/training REQUIRED: (Note: work experience may be considered in lieu of credentials not required by law with HR approval. Work experience must be specific to role)

High School Diploma or equivalent

Completion of Emergency Medical Technician, Certified Nursing Assistant or Medical Assistant Program
